Since 2003, Inisheer has been entertaining northern New York and southeast Canada with high energy, upbeat performances for audiences of all ages. Inisheer is enjoying increasing popular acclaim, playing traditional music from Cape Breton, Ireland, Scotland, Nova Scotia, New England, and the Appalachian region.
Inisheer has performed with such nationally and internationally renowned musicians as the Battlefield Band, Susan McKeown, Greenwich Meantime, and the Glengarry Bhoys and at places such as the Remsen Barn Festival and the Great American Irish Festival in Utica. Inisheer regularly performs at many of the Great Camps, lodges, and vacation homes in the Adirondacks. Some of Inisheer's annual regular public appearances include: the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Rotary Show, the ADK Lodge Fall Concert Series, the Celebrate Tupper Lake days, and the Fish Creek Summer Concert Series, as well as past appearances at the Battle of Plattsburgh.
Recently, in conjunction with their live performances, Inisheer has begun recording and has released three albums, "Live Traditions", "Crossing Borders", and "The Journey" as well as recording for North Country Public Radio's Music Heard UpNorth project.
Inisheer prides itself on being a group dedicated to family-friendly fun and entertainment, including over 202 years of combined musical experience.
